I don't think what we're doing is too far wrong, to be honest. I think prices are ludicrous - but I can't see them coming down at all to be honest - and it's a problem throughout the English game. One think I think could and should realistically be addressed is the prices of Season Tickets. I've not renewed this year. I'm pretty sure I'll still be at most home games, but there's every chance I'll miss enough to mean that it's better value to pay on the day. If someone is prepared to stump up a big old chunk of cash before the season starts, then I think they deserve a bit of value for money.

I don't think they need to come down by any great amount - but I suspect that few people in this day and age can make every home game (fair play to those who can). If you miss three of four games, then there's no value at all to a season ticket, which seems a bit harsh for someone prepared to pay up front.

As of today they are £430.

To be honest, I don't think I could have come up with the cash this season anyway - but I'll probably be back in a position to make the choice next year.

Cheers! Season Tickets are on the agenda, in terms of cost and time of release. We also various items to discuss regarding the coaches - both away and the idea of a coach for home games from certain areas (which is an ongoing action from the first meeting) If anything else occurs to you, the meeting is Thursday so let me know before then.

I have a gripe with the online ticket website. I registered my details on the site to buy a ticket. A pop-up informed me that my details were already on the system. Then when I went to log in, it asked me for my password or client ID. But what is my client ID and password if it did not tell me? So I registered on two more occasions to see if it gave it to me and it didn't. It turns out that as I had a Selhurst Six last season, I was allocated a client ID which is on the card. I have since thrown it away. Why would I keep it and how am I meant to know the ID was on it int he first place? Had I been a new user, then I would have been given my Client ID and password there and then. But seeing as I have bought tickets in the past I was not given one on the website, nothing on the site told me what my client ID or password was or how to retrieve it. This ticket site is used by many clubs, so it's not Palace's fault, and I'm surprised nobody has spotted such a basic f*** up. In the end I had to ring up the box office and get their help which defeats the purpose of having online ticketing! Edited by Penge Eagle (13 Sep 2011 11.32am)

There was a question about Brighton tickets, see thread (the post from MikeG10 24 Aug 11 6.05pm) Because a mate bought 3 Leeds tickets it doesn't show that Mike bought one. I'm sure other people may have had this problem & it could happen again for games where there is a restricted allocation
Trivial fact - Palace usually win 5-1 at least once a season, maybe next season? |

It would be very helpful if, when purchasing tickets to away games, you knew where the seat was. This is nothing to do with not wishing to be mixed in with the lads - I have a problem with vertigo and discovered when arriving at Reading last season that my 'seat' was very high up. Fortunately a helpful steward organised a seat lower down but I am not sure they would all be so obliging. I hasten to add that I was not the only supporter in that situation.

I find it incredible that big companies build websites and do not even test them out.
