Todays extra download is another set from this years Austin City Limits Festival and the set by Lucius. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. According to my files this is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted - I know nothing about them so I turned to Wiki.... "Lucius is a five piece indie pop band from Brooklyn, New York. The band consists of Jess Wolfe (lead vocals and synth), Holly Laessig (lead vocals and keys), Dan Molad (drums and vocals), Peter Lalish (guitar and vocals) and Andrew Burri (guitar, drums, vocals) ". (Thanks Wiki). I've had a listen to this and its rather good and well worth the download... Todays first download is a set by Steve Hackett that was recorded in Amsterdam, Netherlands on the 31st August 1981. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. This is one of the earliest solo shows by Steve Hackett that I've posted - and I've posted a lot of his shows over the years. A great show with some excellent guitar work by SH. No dip into the Genesis file on this one but it's still a top show and is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a show by former Deep Purple keyboards player Jon Lord and some of his "Friends" that was recorded at Fawley Hill, Henley On Thames on the 27th June 2009. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds wicked. Some classic tracks on this one performed by Jon and the band... this is great stuff and is a must have.... top stuff.. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted a show by Lorde earlier this year at Lollapalooza Festival as well as their album "Heroine". If you downloaded either of those then grab this one as well.. this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays first download is a bootleg by The Robert Cray Band which features live shows at Glastonbury and Hammersmith between 1986-1991 which were broadcast on BBC Radio 1 FM - from which the audio has been taken and it sounds top notch. I've posted a few bootlegs by RC over the years and this is another top sounding show for the collection. This guy rocks big time - an amazing blues/rock guitarist - and if you like his work then download this show... this is wicked and is thoroughly recommended... This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted loads of shows by the Foo Fighters over the years - but none recently. This is a good set and if you like the FF's then this is one for the collection...
