Todays first download is a set by old slowhand himself - Eric Clapton. This is a show recorded at the Royal Albert Hall in London 1990 and is in superb quality. Eric has an orchestra backing him for this show - the band and orchestra mix perfectly and this is a top sounding show. I've posted lots of EC boots over the years - this is another one that is thoroughly recommeded.... Todays second download is a set by Kasabian that was recorded on New Years Eve 2011 at the 02 Arena in London. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a webcast audio rip. This is a top sounding show by Kasabian and they play a wicked set which includes a countdown to welcome in the New Year at midnight. I've posted a few boots by Kasabian in the past including one a few days back. This is another top bootleg and is thoroughly recommended.... Todays extra download is a set by The Hollies that was recorded in Stockholm, Sweden in 1966. For a boot thats very nearly 50 years old this is in superb quality with the audio being taken from a pre fm broadcast of the show. The show was recordedin 1966 but the show wasn't broadcast until February 3, 1967. This is only a short set, but if you like The Hollies this is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a set by Pink Floyd that was recorded at Earls Court in London in 1980 while the band were touring with The Wall tour. This is in superb quality and is a great soundboad recording of the show. I've posted many bootlegs by PF over the years - this is another top show. If you like Pink Floyd this is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by Creedence Clearwater Revival that was recorded at the original Woodstock festival in 1969. This is in superb quality for a bootleg thats over 40 years old with the audio taken from the soundboard. When you consider the recording equipment available at the time - this is incredible. I've posted a few albums by CCR over the years - this is one of the best and is thoroughly recommended.... Todays extra download is a set by Scruffy The Cat that was recorded at The Ritz, New York in 1989. This is in superb quality and is a top soundboard recording. This is the first bootleg or album by this band that I've posted and I don't really know a great deal about them. I've had a quick listen to this show and they rock and seem to be having a good time doing it. I've got another show by this band which I may well post tomorrow... If you don't know this band - give them a try!.... Hi staffie, Add odd one for you. Can I request an album I heard recently at an Australian friends house please, I am confused about it's release date - he had it on CD but according to amazon it isn't out until the 23rd. Play says the 13th February. It is called Moonfire by Boy & Bear. Thanks, Jonathan
