Todays extra download is a set by the Mael Brothers - AKA Sparks. This is a bootleg that features tracks from two shows - From The Basement in January 2009 and the BBC's The Culture Show on 3rd June 2008. The quality of these tracks is superb with the audio in both cases coming from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted just about everything Sparks ever did over the years of the mp3 thread - a full discography as well as all the bootlegs I've ever found.. including some that predate Sparks earliest released work by nearly 2 years! - they called themselves Half-Nelson in those days. If you like Sparks - then download this one... this is the mutts... Todays first download is a set by Bryan Ferry that was recorded at the St Lukes Music Education Centre, London on the 10th February 2007. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard. I've posted loads of shows by BF both solo and as lead singer with Roxy Music. He performs a wicked set which also has a cover of the classic "All Along The Watchtower". If you like Bryan Ferry then grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended.. and then some. Todays second download is a set by Foster The People that was recorded at the Lollapalooza Festival in Chile on the 14th March 2015. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted loads of bootlegs by Foster The People - they seem to be constantly touring and play all the festivals around the World. This is a wicked show and they end it with their biggest hit "Pumped Up Kicks". If you like Foster The People then grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended - and then some!. Todays extra download is a set by blues legend John Mayall that was recorded at the Guthrie Theater, Minneapolis, MN on the 31st March 1991. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've not posted that many shows by John Mayall over the years - only a handfull according to my files. This is a really good set and if you like a bit of classic blues/rock you wont go far wrong with this one. This is thoroughly recommended - a top set... I am still having problems with my main PC and I have had to take all my internal and external hard drives off line and disconnect them. For the time being I will only be able to post 1 bootleg download per day. Requests will be accepted via PM and only if they are needed urgently for a good reason.. if I see "it's not released yet" or "my mate has it" ... it won't be posted - just added to the "To Find" list and will be taken care of when I get this ancient excuse of a machine up and running properly again. I am sorry for the inconvenience this may cause - but it's better I get a pc nasty and deal with it or get loads of pm's saying they've got a trojan and its my fault. I am 99.9pct sure my machine is clean now... but I hope to do a clean operating system reinstallation to make sure 100pct. Todays only download was also requested so I'm killing two birds with one boot. This is Mogwai and the set they performed for this years BBC Radio 6Music Festival on the 22nd February 2015. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. I don't have access to any of my music files so I can't tell you how many boots and albums by Mogwai I've posted in the past - but I know I've posted some. Unfortunately, this is not the whole of their set - but it's all that was broadcast. If you like Mogwai then download this one... this is thoroughly recommended.. I am hoping to get my pc sorted in the next day or so - then I will go back to accepting requests and posting more shows. Todays download is another from the recent Lollapalooza Festival in Chile on the 15th March 2015 - and the set by Kasabian. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from a soundboard sourced webcast and it sounds top notch. I've posted a lot of kasabian shows over the years but I can't say exactly until I make another list of my music files. Some top tracks from their early days on this one including ID and Club Foot also including a cover of Fatboy Slim's "Praise You" and ending withThe Beatles "All You Need Is Love"... this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays download is continuing with the recent Lollapalooza Festival in Chile and the set by Bastille that was recorded on the 15th March 2015 with the audio from the soundboard/webcast and it sounds top notch. This is a wicked set whice ends with the bands biggest hit to date "Pompeii". I've posted a lot of shows by Bastille in the last couple of years - they appear at all the festivals around the World - so if you've downloaded any of their sets in the past - grab this one as well.. this is another top show for the collection.... Todays download is a set by The Maccabees that was recorded at this years BBC Radio 6Music Festival on the 22nd February 2015. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from an FM broadcast and it sounds top notch. I've not posted many bootlegs by The Maccabees over the years - only a few if I recall correctly. Hopefully I will have my other hard drives connected in the next 24 hours and will be able to say for sure... In the meantime, if you like The Maccabees - grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended... This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. I've posted a few shows by MP over the years - this is another top sounding boot for the collection - this is thoroughly recommended...
