This put a tear in my eye; beautiful... I couldn't have written better myself.

(Well not in this state anyway)

So refreshing to read and you should be very proud of yourself. You're a credit to the club and your family.

As has been said, hopefully certain people on here read that and realise what supporting this club is all about.

Ah well

A terrific grown up piece of writing Isobel.
Excellent work.

Despite our defeat today I am still positive about the future of the Club. The players tried their best today, even though we lost, which like you said is important.

Following Palace is indeed full of ups and downs, but that's what makes supporting Palace so exciting!

Once an Eagle, always an Eagle!

I agree. Also, Isobel should be some kind of HOL mascot, to remind us of why we support this crazy, amazing football club. She, along with my boy and all the other young Palace fans, really are the future and we should be very, very proud of them.

Absolutely brilliant essay. This should be sent to the club and be included in the next home programme.

She has a much wiser head on very young shoulders than many of our experienced campaigners.

A* from me!

Well done Isobel, your family will be very proud of you especially your favourite uncle and cousin, I suspect..!

You seem to have a real connection with the club which must go back generations. Maybe you should ask your Nanny to speak with CPFC2010 and get the essay published in the programme for the next home game!

My 12-year old daughter follows the fortunes of CPFC but as we now live so far away we can only watch the highlights on Foxtel. We had a season ticket in the Arthur Wait up until we left England and her favourite player was AJ.

Keep up the good work at school and let us know what mark you get.

I reckon my daughter and you would get along very well..!

Every time some muppet (eg slerpy) starts a thread about Burley Out, all of us should copy and paste this thread's original post onto a PM and send it to him/them.

11 years old......

Hopefully the muppets will now be ashamed of themselves.

Spot on HH
