From my time only I'd have to say Ian Wright All 5 solidly comfortable in 'palace legend' status for what they accomplished whilst at the club. There are loads more of course, just 5 will always lead to debate. Kember, taylor, rogers, byrne were before my time, Coppell of course if you're including managers - don't underestimate what he did for our club, we could easily have been the size of Leyton Orient today if it wasn't for him.

It's also a fair point that a true palace legend played for us before most of us were born - Peter Simpson had an outrageous scoring record for us.

Pleased to see Peter Simpson who clearly should be in any all time 5. But by the same token so should Johnny Byrne. Just look at his England record whilst playing in the bottom divisions.
