I'm happy to come on a little later and answer some questions. Perhaps you could work out some way of moderating so that I dont get inundated, or work on a list. Steve P

Very much appreciated! My list would include: 1. if we had won today, would you have made the same decision? 2. how much will George's departure impact on transfers during the window? 3. Do you have or are you working on a shortlist of candidates for the vacancy and, if so, is Dougie Freedman likely to be on the list? Loads more, but I will let a few others have a go. Why sack Burley two days before a very important match against Preston? What happens if the next manager doesn't do well with such a small squad, will he be sacked as well?

I am not disagreeing with the decision, but I am wonderin' why we didn't wait till George bought some of his type of players in? So we could see what 'his team' might look like. Why not wait till February 1st instead of Jan 1st. (Obviously cos it might be too late?)

Thanks Steve, would be great to know the thinking behind everything that's happened. Do the board already know/have an idea who they'd like in next or are you only just advertising?

Steve, was this a knee-jerk decision following today's result? or have you really lost faith in George Burley over recent performances? or is there any truth in any 'personal issues' with GB that you were unhappy with? Thanks.

Hi Steve first of all happy new year to you and the boys Very dissapointing that Burley did not work out as many had high hopes, was it a hard choice to sack Burley at this stage? what with Preston on Monday it must of been difficult to decide. Have you got a replacement in mind? Much thanks
