This post has been merged from a topic called 'drinking in brighton?' by Old Chap Yeah Trafelgar Street isn't a bad shout. All depends on what sort of atmosphere you are after. One thing Brighton isn't short on is bars; as I posted on another topic. Brighton Uni are having a freshers event so they are going around 38 bars in Brighton so I am sure there be a good atmosphere everywhere, well apart from those fans who try and recreate a green street occasion. All in all it should be a good night in town. Just avoid Yates, half way down West Street.

i don't know what these are like on matchdays, but there's plenty of good pubs if you come out the station and turn left down the hill into trafalger street. Edited by Paul67 (26 Sep 2011 7.38pm)
