Need to assume the game could go to extra time & penalties, so wouldn't get out of the ground until 11.30. As I recall from the last time I went to Old Trafford it could take at least half an hour to get back to the city. Trains from Manchester Piccadilly to the airport are about every 40 mins at that time & it takes 20 mins. Add half an hour to get checked in etc And I wonder if there are restrictions on flights leaving during the night?
Trivial fact - Palace usually win 5-1 at least once a season, maybe next season? |
