My first ever fave player was Gerry Queen but more recently I'd have to go for Andy Gray and the Doogster.

Its gotta be Don Rogers for me, his performance in the 5-0 Man U was the finest by a Palace player i've ever seen.

Mine was Tony Popovic.

Reason being because I liked his style of play, he would give his all and if i was playing football (I wish I still played, even just kickabout) I would see myself as playing anywhere in defence (specificly CB).

When I did play matches I always felt like I had similar style of play.

(Lets be fair as well if your going to score an own goal at least do it in style like his one against pompey (I think it was)in the prem. lol)

First Bill Glazier - I was a goalie. And then when he left Steve Kember. And then when he left Don Rogers and when he left I stopped having favourites.

Jim cannon, and that's a stand out choice out of 40 years as a fan, seems Johnny Byrne can't be left out but before my time, out of the last 20 years or so I'd go Jules, aj or doog, with a brief mention for Stan collymore who always dazzled as a sub in the wright bright era

King Kenny was my fave, those effortless runs surging forward, great crosser, and the timing of those slide tackles which he rarely missed which would bang the ball onto the wooden hoardings and leave the man on the cinders.

IAN WRIGHT by a long shot when ever he played we were a danger and we always looked like scoring what we could with someone like him now

One of my favourites was Carlo Nash, he got us into the premiership only to be dropped and replaced by Kevin Miller who was awful !! Carlo sat on the bench for the whole season when he could have played and perhaps kept us up ?
