It’s been an usually undramatic season for Palace this year, with the exception of beating Man U and getting to the Carling Cup semis.

But now is the time for you to show your appreciation and support for both the HoLers and players who have made the last 12 months more exciting, more enjoyable, more stimulating...even more boring!

We are now officially taking nominations for the HoL 2011-12 awards.

The system works like this:

- From now until midnight on 21st April, you can make up to three nominations in each of the categories shown below. Each nomination will carry the same weight, so you can choose whether to make 1, 2 or 3 nominations – they will all score the same.

- On 22nd April, the shortlist will be announced, with the top 3 in each category making the list

- After that to you can then vote for your favourites from the shortlist (new instructions will be posted with the shortlist)

- The winners will then be announced, live, on HoL Radio

So, to submit nominations, you need to cut and paste the list below, fill in the blanks, and send it to me by PM. You are welcome to post your nominations on the thread as well – to provide inspiration and debate – but only PMs will be counted. This is because people have an inevitable habit of changing their posts and I’m buggered if I am going to go through the whole thread to double check their latest selections!

So, in simple terms....

1. Check the categories below and decide who you want to nominate

2. Cut and paste the template and add your selections

3. PM your selections to me, by midnight on 21st April.

Please shed an ounce of time to think about a nomination for me in the Young Poster of the Year category. I hope that many of you now regognise my username as an avid poster who, in my opinion has started some very tasty threads and posted some nice replys. I am also currently working on a piece for the news section, which should hopefully be up before the 21st, which might help some of you make up your minds.

Also, I'd have expected Morg back by now...he normally reappears about awards time.

No secrecy - you are welcome to post on the thread as well. But people then go back and edit posts and change their mind so it would be impossible to keep track of all of that, unless they PM their definitive choices to me.
