Looks like Dougie is set to re-visit this one after the play-offs. Heard on the grapevine that Baldock regrets going to West Ham and was more than disappointed when Alladyce got Vaz Te and Maynard. West Ham will sell in BOTH scenarios. If they go up Bakdock will go down the pecking order as Alladyce will make signings, already had conversations with Kevin Davies for instance. If they stay down Alladyce will have to trim he squad, again with Baldock going. I got all this from a West Ham fan. He rates Baldock but doesn't reckon he has a future there. Would be a great signing if we have the cash to do a deal!

Will only happen if they go up. And I think that will only be a loan deal. We tried to get him last summer but was too expensive. Ipswich are also looking at him this summer on a loan deal. Will be a few clubs looking at him.

If we get Keane on loan from MU ad part of theClyne transfer (if that comes off ) then I doubt whether we would also go for Baldock with all the other strikers we have. If we dont get Keane then Baldock wd be great. It looks to me that Palace want to get a good young striker in from somewhere as a top priority...?

Not even on the bench today. Have a feeling he'll be with us next season. Dougie rates him, West Ham have got too many options upfront and the kid is desperate for first team football, getting a little restless my hammer friend says (who incidentally has hired a limo to get to Wembley this afternoon from Bristol. When will they ever learn?) Rather Baldock than Keane. Loans are too short term for my liking!

Would be an absolutely beauty of a signing. Quality finisher, great pace and can hold the ball up well. Would be an exciting addition next to Murray

Now that WHU are up, Big Sam is more likely to let him go. Sign him!

He was definitely on our list before so I would be very surprised if that wasn't still the case. The cost is a big factor though - I would suggest he's on a decent contract there (probably with a promotion wage increase) so with there being a fee and a big contract it would at best be a sizeable chunk of our budget. If they don't sell him, a loan could be good.

Bloody hope it happens ! Very good player who is wasted at West Ham. How many strikers can one club need !? Would be a great signing , but like Hambo said , money could prove a stumbling block.

His mum teaches at my school, and he coached our team. A very down to earth, friendly guy who always gives 100%. Reckon he could score 15+ a season when fit in the Championship- very similar player to Scannell IMO, just more clinical in the box. I asked him to move to palace when he played for MK Dons and coached our team- told me one day maybe!

15 Goals a season would be fine if he could also put Murray in for the same amount or more and then wilf pitches in with something similar and THEN we still have ambrose who could get a similar amount! That's 60 goals right there just from 4 players. Simple! The league is ours
