Officially gutted by this one. The longer time goes on any decent targets out there are being snapped up. Not sure there is anyone to blame, just a harsh reality that we cannot compete in the transfer market.

It's plainly evident we either cannot compete or are holding back for some reason. I was told by my contact a couple of weeks ago we wouldn't get Baldock but to be honest I didn't take much notice. I thought he would be our one signing to signify some kind of intention this season. Unfortunately not...he goes to Bristol City! Are they a bigger Club than us? No. Will they go up this year? Probably not! As been stated on these forums before many times...what has happened to the funds that must have been freed up with the summer departures? That has got to be the burning question! Also, why can we not attract a decent forward to the Club and Bristol City can!!! Now being bottom of the division it will concern players even more we are on the way down so will make it even more difficult. Why didn't we get Lee Barnard in on loan instead of him going to Bournemouth? I am, like all of us, seriously concerned at this. This has been coming for a while..what is now 3 wins in 27 games??? Disgraceful form. I would give DF till end of window but can't see it getting any better. Middlesbrough,Sheff Weds and Charlton will be hard to get a point off let alone three!
We love you,we love you,we love you and where you play we follow,we follow,we follow, cos we support the Palace, the Palace, the Palace and thats the way we like it,we like,we like it...WOAH,WOAH,WOAH!!! A winner is a dreamer who never gives up... |

However, the clock is ticking, not much time left to bring in the players we need, and there is quite a long shopping list!
