We've sold 2,000 more season tickets than last year already

Great news. I wasn't sure how many would sell after the limited number of goals this season but its great to see that people are getting behind the team.

last year the club sold 9.8k STs just before the season started. we have currently sold 8.1k. imo i cant see us selling another 1.7k before 18 august. 4 main factors behind this - the price of a ST has gone up considerably, the away fans have been moved, the police spoil the matchday experience and the negative tactics. if the board could solve 2 if not 3 of these problems then more people would renew/buy a ST.

Also am I right in thinking that a lot of the multi year season tickets sold by Jordan have now run out meaning that more season ticket renewal was inevitable?

Its sold 2k more then this time last year, just means people have renewed quicker i would guess. Gotta wait til the final figure at the start of the season to see if we have more ST holders then last year, which was close to 10k

Well they were counted the same anyway so we are still up on previous years - but we are down to about 700 long-term tickets I believe which means most of the ST sales money finally goes to the owners. Not sure whether sales will die off or there will be a late burst as the season approaches. A couple more signings like Joel Ward might convince a few people about ambition.

For what its worth Im unlikely to renew mine. The difference in pay as u go and season ticket is not significant enough for me to take up.
