I would so love to sign him back, he was such a gr8 midfielder and i still remember that brilliant goal he set up against hull in the 2005/06 season

A player every one liked in his early days. Most of us saw potential in him to go on and become a top prem player, if not for us than someone else. He just didn't progress pass those early good displays which were helped by having good players around him at that time. I still want him to suceede, but it isn't going to happen (or is it?).

Another ex palace player released. Another transfer thread about them. Really, what is the obsession with these old players. I can count on 1 hand every player in the last 10 years I was gutted went. Soares definitely wasn't one of them

I cannot believe people want him back!! He was awful towards the end of his palace days, lazy and couldn't complete a 5 yard pass!! When stoke bid for him we couldn't believe our luck!!! Definately a big no thanks from me!! Tom soared.......dear me!
