This post has been merged from a topic called 'Tom Soares (Suggestion)' by Moose We had this last month. These were my thoughts. Jedi, KG, Marrow and O Keefe? Enough surely? Depends where in the league you're looking to finish? Soares had a reasonable season in Scotland in a pretty dire side. Not sure he has anything to add to the our current squad. Couldn't see him play as one of the 2 sitters DF likes to employ, which would mean he'd need to play in the forward 4. I don't think he is as good as Ambrose, Scannell, Zaha, Williams, Martin forward, nor O'Keefe, KG, Jedi and Wrighty sitting in, I'd rather see another youngster get a chance. We do need somebody to play in behind as it were, but Soares isn't it. A better suggestion than most ex-players, Johnny Ertl, AJ not in a million years. Soares needs to go somewhere and prove himself now if he wants to play at the highest level. A shame for the lad having made a move that hasn't work out for him, I wish him luck.

I'm sure he could do a job here. I agree. With that in mind, I suggest (in no particular order): --Car park attendant Anything, really. But please, keep him off the pitch.

I never really knew what Soares did. I mean, what is he actually good at? Ah yes. Sod all. Next.

He put a good shift in for CP and was a good box to box player. However, we should aim at better quality now in my view

He's one of our academy lads who played a stack of games for us and made the England U21's - things haven't worked out for him, but he won't be the only player who struggles after they've left the club that developed them throughout their most informative years.
