CVA rejected by HMRC (apparently in line with their recognised policy on those not in compliance).

Means a new company/club being formed and a 3 year ban from Europe.

Nothing story cos SFA will invoke some secret hidden clause somewhere saying that the Newco will automatically be allowed to restart in the SPL as it will be way too big a loss of money for them otherwise.

Can't see that happening, it will make a laughing stock of the SFA, and will fall foul of Fifa, who are already investigating the SFA for allowing Rangers to appeal against their transfer embargo in the law courts.

Interesting, HMRC going after previous directors.

Whilst Celtic would probably loose the most if Rangers are kicked out of the SPL, it will be the smaller clubs like St Mirren that would suffer the most as the money from the Rangers game makes up a significant part of their turnover. The fans of these clubs may like nothing better than to see Rangers getting a kicking but I can’t imagine their owners ever voting for it.

If I were a Rangers fan, the chance to see them play against Elgin City, Montrose and Peterhead (I looked them up) would be quite attractive. Even if they lost all of their squad, with no debts they will have the revenue to buy a team that would beat anyone below the SPL. If they are going to have a 3 year European ban, they may as well enjoy themselves in the lower leagues for those seasons.

To be liquidated. Now they can go with my plan of restructuring the entire league back into 2 divisions of 20, while getting Rangers back in the top flight in one season.

Optimistic as ever

The worst thing about it is that Gers fans think that the slate has been wiped clean, so they will just carry on from where they left off, killing the game, if the SPL clubs let them stay in the league then they can ram it.

I support Scotland, Hibs and the Palace, no glory hunters here!!!!!!
