not going to lie to you, since gardner/sean leaving we have had some very appealing rumours come to light...they are of course just rumours, but its a lot more pleasing than rumours like wilbriham & connelly. like SP has said, lets wait and see where we are at the end of the summer! was very suprised cardiff let him go last season. Sounds unlikely, but would be a great signing. A proper striker with real instinct. Warnock will know he can get several journeyman lumps with the cash and we'd have an excellent young striker on our hands. Would suit our sensible long-term objectives and his short-term vision. Bring it on!

As much as I would love to have him at the club I highly doubt that the 1 million fee would be accepted considering that Huddersfield,West Ham and Wigan where rumoured to be offering 2.5 million. However if we where to get him it would be a very big signing for us.

Wow, if we somehow got him, I would forgive Dougie for selling Scannell. Exactly the player we need, someone who can actually finish. Gives us another option next to Zaha, Murray and Wilbraham.
