Certainly makes sense - Monday is July 1st, start of the transfer window. Wilbrahim is a done deal supposedly and has been for a while but have had to wait till his contract expires with Norwich to announce and the McCormack signing announced with it makes the whole thing sound a bit more exciting ....then again McCormack could've all been made up by some 13 year old in his bedroom (to quote Dougie!) Either way, Monday is a long time to wait in terms of Crystal Palace transfer sagas! Is it my imagination but wasn't Scannell rumoured to be off on Friday and signed on Friday! Why doesn't it happen like that for our incoming transfers! Edited by Benjamin2011 (28 Jun 2012 1.36pm)

Same question I asked hiim! Conor Murphy is listed in my summary thread at the top of the page and the wikipedia link in this thread is useful too. I know nothing about how he plays though!

Conor Murphy is a 19 year old former Middlesbrough academy graduate, a striker who was previously at bray wanderers and monaghan united until the latter basically ceased to exist. Free agent, were rumours in the Irish press last week but I didn't take a lot of notice of them. Edited by Red and Blue Army (28 Jun 2012 2.09pm)

Personally I would be well happy with McCormack, and Wilbraham. Along with Murray and Zaha that gives us a pretty impressive front line plan. Then all we need is another cb and a creative midfielder and play offs here we come.
