Zeki Fryers who is a central defender and full back is refusing to sign an extension to his contact at Man U. According to reports he is interested in First Team action and not money. Spurs are showing interest but he has not signed. Man U rate him and don't want him to leave. Our sort of player? High potential for future profit

Like him - thought he was one of the few of Man Utd's supposed "new class" who looked to have the right ability and attitude when we played them (came on as sub I seem to recall and played a hell of lot better than Fabio against Zaha) Get the feeling that Martin will play CB alongside Paddy with another new signing as backup alongside our youngsters. I may be wrong - but I can't imagine we'd sign a teenage CB when we have Taylor reaching the age where he needs to be involved in the first team squad and Chambers and Innis pushing strongly for more involvement too. I can see us bringing in an experienced CB on a 1 or 2 year deal though.

Quade Taylor part of the quartet of young CBs that we have including Alex Wynter (although he can play in a fair few positions), Michael Chambers and Ryan Inniss.

Oh for crying out loud. If we're going to let these young starlets slip through our fingers and sign for the likes of Spurs, there's no hope for us. We'll be playing Croydon Athletic before we know it.
