the reason mulgrew wants to leave is the lack of competition and i know that he wants to move to england.

no because he told me about the ward deal and we are interested in charlie mulgrew but wages may be an issue Mulgrew? isn't he a left back? not another one
look of somebody, and attracting them to our mid-lower table champo club! Happens allot though Brauny. Players from the SPL join championship clubs all the time. One because it's a better all round league and two it's a great way to work your way up into the premier league with the club you sign with ala Charlie Adams. Don't write it off so easily.
but im just putting my realistic POV across that we have 2 hopes, and ones dead...i hope im wrong tho. Really hope this does not happen. Mulgrew spent most of last season playing centre half and while he was a real improvement on previous seasons where he had played left back he really isn't a very good defender. His positional sense is terrible he gets away with it with Celtic as he hardly has to do any defending and keeping a clean sheet is not all that hard for them whoever they have at the back. He does take a good set piece and this is why he has won player of the year in Scotland. In a competitive league he will be shown up as the poor defender he is, just look at the goals from the Scotland USA fixture at end of May for some examples.

maybe its just me but i hope we dont sign either of these players...ive made my thoughts on boyd perfectly clear in the past, but its puncheon i want to talk about. hes had a nomadic/erratic career at best, and i kinda feel that a lot of people want him signed just because they remember (with horror) the hat-trick he scored against us for millwall. hes also got a bad/big time charlie attitude and isnt anywhere near as good as wilf/parr. lets not waste money on him, and leave him well alone.

personally (maybe it's because i know him) i really would love puncheon. a natural left midfielder is something we haven't had in years. it just offers such a better balance to the team and his delivery is always good when i've watched him (which is a fair bit)
