Not allowing Sheffield Wednesday more than 2,000 tickets is a joke, and costing the Club considerable money ie say 3,000 at average say £20 (taking into account concession tickets) = £60,000 so I am sure this is not a Club decision, but the Police. It must again im afraid to say come back partly on the behaviour of our supporters and letting of Flares or smoke bombs at away matches which although looking nice is really harming the Club financially even if the Club is not punished for the behaviour of the fans by the FA. The Police watch supporters and act on any bad behaviour, whether it be fighting, flares/smoke bombs, or even just drunkeness which they feel could cause problems and the overall result of this is that they limit tickets to away supporters whether it be clubs coming to Selhurst or Palace going to away matches. There is also the threat of revenge by Sheffield Wednesday fans after the Hillsborough relegation match, but I don't really think that will be a problem, Wednesday fans normally travel in large numbers and have a pretty good reputation. So it is upto our supporters to behave so that the Police have no reasons to restrict ticket sales
