I don't think its poor that we haven't sold out for the game. Still over two weeks to go. People are getting paid and when they see us signing a good striker on loan this will encoruage them to buy the ticket to see the Clowns. Clearly our opinions differ. Signing a 'Good' Player on loan should encourage people to buy a ticket to an away match against one of our rivals is the lamest excuse I have heard. This fixture was one of the first 3 I looked out for when released and regardless of our position in the table and or lack of players that can hit a barn door with a banjo I would be attending. Yes they do differ. Whether we sell out Charlton now or in two weeks time makes no difference whatsoever. If you want to continue going on about it then be my guest. Well sorry for airing my opinion on a public forum, you chose to respond with ridiculous reasons and I responded to that. I thought that's what a forum was all about but again I must be wrong. What a pleasant and friendly place this once good forum has turned into. My suggestions are NOT ridiculous. Today is payday for most people. Some people have very little money to play with and have to wait till payday to make extra purchases etc. I'm sorry we're not up to your expectations as fans and for the record I have my ticket for Charlton. Debate is fine but if you can't comprehend the original list of reasons I have given its your problem not mine. So what you are saying is your 5 reasons are 100% correct and any other opinion is wrong! Good debate that. Of the 5 original points I have listed number 3 is open to debate. The rest are stating fact and are reasonable. Tickets will shift once they go on general sale from this Saturday.

Re pubs... The Barrow Boy and Banker at the southern end of London Bridge was pretty lively last time we played them...

Its not about the money money money...its about people not wanting to witness their beloved team play s***e football and get beat by their closest rivals to boot.

trying to buy a couple of tickets for the Clowns. First off the voicemail for Palace says that they are reopening on Monday for the under 21 game. So I try on-line and both tickets are saying seat 56 (surely this can't be right, can it) gotta love Palace somethings will never change no matter who is in charge.

If people are waiting for a win before they purchase an away ticket they will be waiting a long time at this rate! I'm just annoyed as I got mine early thinking we would sell very quickly, however I'm in row 3, row f***ing 3! Likewise, however 1) Just sit where you want like all away games, 2) If some old g*t demands you move from his seat and end up in allocated seat its easier access to the pitch when Wilf slots home the 93rd minute winner.

I'm sure we will sell out, we nearly always do at The Valley. Not sure who I'd rather beat more out of the South London clubs. Sure there is genuine animosity between us and Millwall (to some extent, at least), but it would p**s the Clowns off a bit more if we beat them I suspect. With Millwall though there is the knowledge that they're a smaller club than us, so no doubt they especially love getting one over on us. I'm not necessarily sure that's the case with the Clowns. Opinions?

Still cant believe this one isn't sold out!!!
