I hold my hands up and apologies to Dougie and CPFC2010 and especially Murray. I was a doubter but today I saw a team that look dangerous going forward and committed at the back...I saw a raw talent in Bolognaise, A lump of a centre back who fought for the cause in his home debut... I saw wilf deliver crosses! and I saw a new, fit, hard working and classy murray!! Defence is still a little shaky, lacking pace! and we need to work on the defensive step piece. so a big dollop of humble pie, my faith is restored.

I applaud you for your post and hope many others follow your example. To top off the victory today Dougie and the players dedicated it to the fans. What a guy.

On behalf of those who didn't go over to the dark side, apology accepted. Still one can only imagine the nonsense will resume if we get well beaten by the pikeys.

My problem was never with the results but the limitations of the team and thus the tactics employed. Frankly we were boring. Today I was entertained and I saw a much more dynamic team and a squad with plenty of options..... we need a pacey full back though!

Don't really see the need for an apology from most. I, along with the majority of other fans, was sick of the defensive crap we were served up at the end of last season, and wanted more attacking and positive displays. All we did today was not sit back and let them attack us, but really have a go, with an attacking formation. We also saw the benefit of sticking our neck out and bringing some fresh faces in. Moritz, Bolassie and Delaney were all brilliant today.
If something can't be described in plain English, maybe you shouldn't base an entire society on it. Just saying. |

No need to apologise - the games over the past few months have been dire due to way the team was organised and the inability of our players to perform well. I'm pleased for Dougie today. He can now say that the players in his squad were all his choice (bar Speroni and Paddy) and he deserves the chance to show what a full strength squad can do. The team spirit is there and that too is pleasing to see given our league position. Onwards and upwards with our new additions and more attacking intent!!
