I agree that people without a ticket should get their arse in gear asap.

But not because of that load of crap, but because it will be a quality day out.

Not really even bothered about the result, although feeling much more confident than I was before the Wednesday game, just looking forward to the atmosphere.

Reading that - do we all supposedly have skin conditions or something? Is this a "spotty Nigel" thing? I forget now, because the anorak-wearing, trainspotting, caravan-driving, circus-going freak show w***ers keep going all quiet on us.

I see one of them says he'll be at Barrowboy and Banker. The smell is going to be unbearable if that's the case.

Maybe they need to realise that it might be a big match for them but personally I'd rather go to a match against a rival and not some pikey club down the road.

Ah well

Personally I would have loved to go to Charlton. Not because it's a rivalry (lets be fair here..its really not) but because its a local away game that would be very easy for me to get to.

Unfortunately the future Mrs. Vagabond has over ruled me so I shan't be attending and am more than a little gutted by that.

Hambo, you're not bothered about the result?!?

Surely you remember the day they sent us down and celebrated as though they'd won the world cup & champions league rolled into one! Their hatred for us is unbelievable and you only have to look at the comments on their sad little forum to gauge that, i.e. "but I just find Palace's existence absolutely pathetic and in many respects embarrassing" - wtf?

I hope we annihilate them and contribute towards sending them back down to the 3rd tier by taking 6 pts off them this season. I agree with you that with a huge away following this game could be a classic and I also can't wait to rub their noses in it and remind them who the #1 club is in S.London

Totally agree with your comments. I find them a horrible little club and am relishing the prospect of 2500-3000 of us taking the piss WHEN we get a result there. Bring on Friday!

I hate South London lads who support North London clubs!

Had to laugh at the post concerning their knicker wetting about how many we'll bring but the fact that no Palace fans have been bothered to post on teh board was oddly insightful and bang on. Answers the posts furtehr up about wether we're bothered by the match far more than anything they can concoct could.

Lol; bless

I'll be in teh Players Lounge sipping their beer and enjoying their hospitality. If we win; we win...if not then so be it.

I've got to pick and choose my games this season, Charlton didn't even cross my mind if I'm honest.

We all see it differently. Going back to that season, what got us relegated was not one draw at their ground. Obviously them being local and their behaviour that day mean I would like us to beat them, but the truth is the result on Friday is not the be all and end all for me. I will celebrate like a madman if we do win but it isn't like Brighton or Millwall away where I would feel sick if we didn't win.

What I am really saying is I am more interested in the day out and I know our away support will be loud and proud no matter what happens on the pitch. Something that plastic bunch of nobodies knows nothing about.

Hate them, hate them, hate them!
Can't wait for Wilf, Bolasie, Moritz & Joniesta to tear their defence to ribbons!
Bring it on!

The more they big it up, the more their disappointment will be if they can’t beat us.

I hope we sell out but I can understand why some people wouldn’t want to turn up after how their stewards have treated us in previous seasons. If you travel to away matches you know to be on the look out for neanderthal home supporters (all clubs have them) but you expect better from the stewards.

Stand there like parked cars if you want to. We can't force you to enjoy this music
Take it or leave it we'll carry on regardless. If you don't like it you don't have to use it
It’s up to you

What if we're working?

I could've gone on the saturday, but thanks to Sky it ruined what would've been my first visit to The Valley. Sad times...
