I am back again after a couple of years in the far-off land they call League One.

What a dreadful place it is, mostly weird looking characters of dubious parentage and burnt out shells of homes and shops – come to think of it, a bit like Croydon

Anyhoooo, I digress.
Now then, we are playing each other this week so we have lined-up trains full of women and children for you gentlemen to attack, and have secured all ceiling tiles in toilets along the way in case any should fall and make someone cry.

We have given you our very own Sir Leonard of Lawrence, so we will send out much love to him as always, and especially so, this season due to the job he is doing – what with you guys propping up the table an’ all.

One change to note is that we are mothballing that Peter Kay song in favour of “what’s it like to see a crowd?” which I gather is a reference to you guys struggling to get 18000 even for decent opposition.

I shall of course be here to receive your boquets and brickbats after the game – but will probably be unable to reply due to your trigger happy mods - who I want to cuddle.

Sadly unlike your sad selves we dont run the mummies boys express coaches from our front doors to Selhurst Park,complete with a little picnic pack from mater and a jolly game of bingo on the way and all for the princely sum of a farthing.
Dont worry about our attendances sonny jim just keep an eye on your own sad,quiet and to be honest boring crowds as when you enter admin due to your shipping boat people in from every corner of the globe to boost crowds your pennies will run out and you will be begging to use our ground once more.
