and there is no cure !
I am back again after a couple of years in the far-off land they call League One. What a dreadful place it is, mostly weird looking characters of dubious parentage and burnt out shells of homes and shops – come to think of it, a bit like Croydon Anyhoooo, I digress. We have given you our very own Sir Leonard of Lawrence, so we will send out much love to him as always, and especially so, this season due to the job he is doing – what with you guys propping up the table an’ all. One change to note is that we are mothballing that Peter Kay song in favour of “what’s it like to see a crowd?” which I gather is a reference to you guys struggling to get 18000 even for decent opposition. I shall of course be here to receive your boquets and brickbats after the game – but will probably be unable to reply due to your trigger happy mods - who I want to cuddle. Peace to all. VP

Don't you like that bussing-in idea then ? I detect an element of sulking in your post. As for Wall and Angels and Youtube, I am a man of peace and have no truck with such matters. Finally, even my miniscule intellect knows that the French for "you are" translate as "vous etes". Vous et means "you and"...... Tut Tut. One can often ask for guidance in any local Arabic establishment, due to the colonial past of our friends across the Channel. So, in Croydon - just the 500 or so places to choose from then. Toodle pip. VP "As I turn up the collar on my favourite winter coat, the wind is blowin' my mind"
