Four wheels drives the body - Two wheels drives the soul |

I honestly believe that if we are up the top end of the league when the next window opens, Wilf wont be going anywhere.

Its all good...it'll do nothing more than drive up his price for when he does go. I'd be quite happy for him to go to Arsenal tbh, they pay good money for kids (Walcott, Ox, Ramsey)and are cash rich.

We all know it's a question of when not if. Fingers crossed we have a season where we are permanently in the top 6 and winning games well. He might just stay until April.

Let's face it - there's no better club for him to go to. As Far as Palace are concerned, I just hope he keeps performing and driving his value up. As far as Wilf's concerned - no manager cares more about bringing young players through and playing technically superior football. Nowhere better, certainly in Britain, for him to end up.

Here's a question...if we somehow kept the run going and go up...will Wilf stay for our season in the sun?

When he does leave, i would be more than happy to see him go to Arsenal. I think he would flourish under Wenger, hes always given youngsters a chance. He knows that Wilf already has the technique to play for him but will iron out the few rough edges that he still has. I would hate to see him go to Chelsea or Man City because he might disappear without trace or Spurs for obvious reasons. Its clear he has the talent to play at the top of the Prem so its Arsenal for me.

Here's a question...if we somehow kept the run going and go up...will Wilf stay for our season in the sun? Maybe if it was next season...but otherwise I'd say no. I wouldn't be surprised if we carry on this form to the new year that Arsene didn't try and do a deal to get him NOW allowing him to stay till the end of the season. That way he'd not command as big a price should the 'unmentionable' happen...

Agree with most here, is a case of when not if. I am hoping he will be here till the end of the season and then to be honest there isn't a better club for him to go to, to develop his talent if the management of CP think they can't do any more here for him. Arsenal would pay the region we are after and that would hopefully enable us to get replacements in. However I obviously would love him to stay for one more season with us in the Prem; but I don't want to be getting carried away with this season just yet!!!
Another exciting pre-season ....... |

When a deal is finally done, I really hope dougie and steve can sort out some sort of loan back, for his continued development.

I would shocked if we sell Wilf in January. We will be in contention for promotion and the club would be stupid to break up the team when we have a good chance of promotion to the Premier League. If we do get to the PL then the club's management have a choice to make - do we keep Wilf and strengthen the squad for the PL, or do we sell him and use the additional PL money and sale proceeds to buy a decent replacement? Either way Arsenal is the kind of club that Wilf should be looking to join. He will learn from Wenger and will benefit from playing with players of that calibre. I also think that Arsenal need more UK based players and so someone like Wilf is particularly sought after.

I expect him to be at Palace for this and next season. We don't need to sell him. And in that time we may be having a good sniff around the Prem so he may want to stay with us longer.
