...couldn't agree more. International matches have lost their lustre and the mercinary nature of so many players leaves most of us cold. Early retirements by Lineker, Shearer, Scholes, Robinson et al say it all really. Club football (at Premiership level) has become such a commercial beast that nothing compares or can compete. Aside from that, many players get injured in training (ie Lombardo and Joniesta) due to poor prep by fitness coaches who don't understand the individual variances, strengths, weaknesses of the players they are handed. Roll on next weekend!

Don't like them, too many in a short space of time and then it creates a fixture build up as we go through the rest of the season.

However it easier to get a winning 6 fold on the internationals lololol

With almost each group having 6 countries in meaning 10 games each, they have to have these breaks to try and fit 2 matches in, which seems a good idea rather than spreading them all over the place with 1 game here and 1 game there and obviously you can only schedule them at certain times because of the bad weather. Are some people suggesting here that Championship games should be scheduled when Internationals are played and if any of the teams players are selected its hard luck and the games are played anyway, like cricket is when Counties play matches without their England Players? Don't forget that the Championship has 4 games more per club than there used to be meaning players playing more games.
The pyramid to beat all pyramids!! Find out what team is in which division, eg which division is Coppull United in? |

Yep, international breaks means the weekends are more than boring! That said, plenty of rest for our lads who have not been called up!

International breaks are dull, couldnt care less about England. But if thats bad, what about the season ending ? Whats that about ? Football every week of the year, without fail is the way forward I reckon.. "Its gonna move !"
Its time for a pep talk ! |

I really hope the leagues refuse to cooperate with them on that. Were it to happen once I could see it being turned into a permanent winter break, which I'm dead against and don't agree with the logic that it helps clubs or national sides.
Optimistic as ever |
