Simple thread What is the drunkest you have ever been at a Palace game.
Hit with the outside of the boot thats the bit I like. |

Man Utd in the cup last season, me and my palace mates at uni bought 3 of those mini heineken kegs as they were on offer and downed them all before the match. Suffice to say after the match we went and bought a couple more!! Even though we were students in Manchester the next morning three of us woke up at a B&B in Kendal. Apparently we hitchhiked.

IH: "I thought Jonny and Wilf were brilliant but it took a 39 year old master to watch the ball and keep his eye on it to finish it". |

Probably Charlton away this year. Booked the day off work and spent the whole of the daytime drinking in croydon before getting the train up and carrying on inside the ground. Was pretty wasted at Brighton away and Brighton home last year too!

Man Utd at home in the Prem years. Gentle start in the Port Manor, somehow managed to end up in two rounds (one with my usual crowd one with a mate from work and his mates). It was televised, and people at work the next day were talking about the game, and I realised I couldn't rememebr any of it

I went soberish once, I think, difficult to tell as I was very hungover.

That’s an easy one. Sunderland at home, must’ve been Christmas time around 2006? Roy Keane was manager, we won 1-0. I’d been on a ridiculous three day bender. Started on the Wednesday night with my works Xmas do. Followed up with an all-dayer on Thursday with some random girl I’d met at an all-night party I’d gone to instead of going home. Got unceremoniously booted out of her flat on the Friday morning. Skulked across London feeling double awful and got home in time for my mate to ring and ask if I was up for some pre-match beers in Balham. When we finally got to the game, I was so drunk that my eyes literally weren’t able to follow the ball around the pitch properly. And when we scored we celebrated like we’d won the world cup. Apart from that (and waking up with a cold kebab all over my lap on my sofa) I don’t remember too much else.
...we must expand...get more pupils...so that the knowledge will spread... |

Can't remember the opposition (poss Birmingham) but I remember falling asleep in my seat and then getting ironic cheers from the people around me when I woke up. Edited by jimruss (16 Oct 2012 9.02am)

Derby away at The Baseball ground in the 95-96 season. They were second and we were third. We needed to win to swap places with them. If we lost then we had to settle for play offs. Got the coach up and we were running late. Got in the pub at 2pm and the guy in charge said 'youve got 45 mins to drink as much as you can'. Managed to do 5 pints of Stella in 45 mins and was totally bladdered!! We lost 2-1 in the end but Kenny Brown scored a screamer for us!
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

Ipswich away the season before last I hadn't been to bed the night before and carried on all the way through until Sunday morning. Memories of the game are patchy.
