Last week 3 Palace fans were subjected to 6am dawn raids, two dragged from their beds and held in Police custody, one for over 9 hours before being interviewed. On what charges? Whoever is behind these actions, these are obviously serious accusations with far reaching consequences beyond football yet the evidence provided was so poor that after one lad's solicitor phoned the station, his case was dropped. There was also NO statement from the alleged 'victim' and NO report of this anywhere across the internet, this is simple harassment. This is a non incident being dressed up to suit an agenda and begs the question again, why are Palace fans STILL being allowed to be treated with such contempt by the Police in and around our own stadium, backed by lies and half truths? Remember this is barely half a year after a PC claimed that he was set on fire by a flare outside the Holmesdale in a case in which the defendent was found not guilty. We understand that people should accept the consequences of their actions, however, to dawn raid 3 innocent fans over nothing with no evidence shows that once again the police are peddling lies to push agendas knowing that they can get away with it. As a group we would normally have spent the week working on a display for a South London derby to unite fans and motivate the lads. However the motivation is not there whilst the Palace support is at risk of criminal charges in our own stadium. CPFC - TOGETHER AS ONE

Sorry to hear if anyone has been treated unjustly. I would have no hesitation is shopping anyone if I witnessed them breaking the law but there should always be a just due process that follows....dawn raids seem a cowardly and unnecessary action, particularly if no other attempt to investigate/question had been attempted by the police. On a slightly separate note...IMHO, I seriously think that the HF have gone beyond their original raison d'etre. There is a real sense that they are somewhat sinister now. Wearing black (initially intended as a justifiable way of protesting against an appalling ruling), marching to the ground, hoodies, having run-ins with the stewards, and dare I say it, deciding what songs we all get to join in to sing and not to sing. Alongside that, the unfortunate and unaccompanied singing of Jimmy Saville-themed songs to Brighton (& other?) fans. All of this cannot be described as fun, positive, endearing or engaging. I love the good stuff that the HF have done but the above is my opinion and as a Palace fan as committed as any other, please can I suggest that the HF chill out a little and a have some fun?

the police seem to think they can get away with this kind of behaviour.i too have been subjected to mistreatment by the police.they have become unprofessional in so many ways.they should remember they are there to uphold the law not break it.

Being the victim of a dawn raid by the filth is no play ground matter. I have sympathy for those involved.

Being a supporter of a football club really does put you down with the rapists and paedo's in the eyes of the Police, sickening really. Edited by Ouzo Dan (31 Jan 2013 1.28pm)
