always good to have a good natured debate, wonder where Wiggy Bam Bam has gone who thinks I'm an Arsenal supporter! I hope he's back in time for England's next tournament as I'll need help against the England haters, like yourself!

He could/should have done this years ago. He's got millions in the bank and plenty more coming in every year from sponsorships, so he's hardly made a sacrifice has he? Yes its a nice gesture, but for him its not much better than any of us donating a tenner to children in need.
I suppose the hospital Drogba funded in Africa was incase he got injured visiting his parents, or incase he wants to become a doctor. If he wishes to donate his earnings to charity that is fine. However some of the reporting around this is wrong. If he is "playing for free" such as reported on the BBC then perhaps somebody might like to let the PSG financial director know as I'm sure that would put a smile on his face. This is not voluntary work in any sense.
“ [T]here are known knowns; there are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns; that is to say there are things that, we now know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns – there are things we do not know we don't know. ” |

Lol, just like when those telepathic photographers "know" when he's going to make an appearance at the hospital. Or be playing with Bronx and Juliet in a park somewhere... If it came out a few years down the line that Beckham did x,y and Z for charity, i'd be full of praise. The fact that he milks to it maximum PR potential every single time, is not....

Why on earth is he getting grief for donating his wages to charity? Those that say it's a publicity stunt, what have you done for charity lately? F*cking ridiculous to slate the guy for doing good. Any article I have ever read on him is that he is a good guy, very humble & down to earth so it's very believable that he would do this. If it was Ashley Cole however....

Good Daily Heil article, which is a rarity.

Didier Drogba spent half an hour on the Graham Norton show letting everyone know about all the charity work he does in Ivory Coast, yet that was widely considered as a fantastic thing to do. I honestly can't see any difference.

reading between the lines of the Mail article would seem that the image rights that go with Golden Balls even if he steps into the khazi for a p/iss would likely make the money he's donating to this charity seem like chicken feed considering the shirt sales/hair products, underpants etc that this overrated dipstick will will receive in the few months that he stays in Paris. This whole Brand Beckham like an out of control locomotive train, reminds me of a crack addled Kings Cross whore the night after a troop ship has dropped anchor in the harbour and letting the sex starved predatory service men buggering and committing all sorts of sordid acts on it, and after seaman spewing from every orifice the whore desperately gathers up the takings from the nights work, god I'm glad I never bought into this lunacy. Is there are more vainer man on the planet?
after 13 years in which Bernard Lerring had pulped over 4 thousand weasels he suffered a compound nervous breakdown.
