You have an away page why?? If you read my posts carefully you will note many reasonable conversations with some of your fellow fans. However, if people wish to insult or provoke me then I will respond in a different way. Note how I dont resort to insults or swearing. It is in fact quite hilarious to see some of your fellow fans getting so 'wound up' or 'high and mighty'!!!

I actually agree that the management merry-go-round was not a valid criticism, in the main. You've dumped some managers who probably didn't deserve it, as have we, and our recent record of managers is pretty poor (I'm one of the ones who has been begging for a bit of stability and a long-term manager for ages). However, I don't think counting the trophies is a good marker as to how good respective chairmen are, given the incredible disparity between resources available

I think that's the point for alot of us... success in football isn't measured in money. It is measured in League positions and trophies. Chelsea have plenty of those recently, why would the average fan care about money generated? money is important at Palace only so far as we need some to stay afloat, other than that, why would we care how rich we are?

We support Palace and you support Chelsea.... not sure what else there is to say on this thread. Are we comparing clubs or something? Or is everyone claiming that supporting one is more worthy than the other (in football? PLEASE! it's a sport.) Undoubtedly there are things that, as a Chelsea fan, you won't experience, but we will, and vice versa.

I will say this for being Palace. We can always dream of cup finals, european football and the like, and when we don't get it, we aren't surprised or annoyed, and so long as we beat Brighton and Millwall regularly and get promoted now and then, we enjoy ourselves immensely. As a modern chelsea fan, having won everything, success is expected, and therefore you have much more reason for being pissed off than us when you don't get it. What if Chelsea do an arsenal and go a decade or so without winning anything? I'm sure there will be many pissed off fans who feel like they are entitled to some success.
