Terry Wogan was another coward. Speaking about Jimmy Savile, Wogan said ''everybody knew about him, but sure it wasnt my job to be catching him or locking him up''. Rolf Harris..........just another of the few media types that got caught. I expect many escaped unpunished. but rather than crucify Wogan, i would opine that seemingly the paedophilia of Jimmy Savile was an open secret at the BBC. Even the tea lady knew about it. "Everyone knew",.....but no-one even thought to question. Always wondered if the Rolf Harris portrait of QE2 was actually destroyed, or just hidden away somewhere, so that Andrew could fawn over the work of a fellow paedo. The most despicable thing he did after prison was to record "that song" about the victims that convicted him.

Not that he had witness anything but the rumours were well know. I can't believe the management did not suspect.

Outrageously he was hosting regular meetings at his home with Senior Police Officers ( no wonder he was never prosecuted) and Stoke Mandeville had given him unrestricted access and allowed him to dress as a doctor. I do wonder if people had expressed concerns but were told to “go away”
