Hi, I am part of a group called the Sunderland Ointment. We are the South London supporters of Sunderland. Obviously we have a soft spot for Palace and we would like to welcome you to the premier league. PS: It's hard to stay up at first but after 2 seasons you'll be fine!

Out of interest why Ointment? What's your take on PDC? Are you laughing at what is happening at Newcastle? EDIT: Decent club Sunderland. Run in the right way i.e. not a soap drama like some clubs. Edited by PassDribbleShoot (19 Jun 2013 4.41pm)

I met a few Sunderland fans after that playoff semi-final a few years back. All of them absolutely diamond fellas. One of them (who actually commuted to every home game from Leicester!) even 'lent' (ie, gave) me some money to get home after I accidentally blew all my cash on beer! Got a lot of time for Sunderland fans based on my experience that night - absolutely top blokes!
...we must expand...get more pupils...so that the knowledge will spread... |

Well I guess a lot of us don't like PDC but our group doesn't mind. Obviously we're not fascist but we don't care what he is as he's a football manager. And he did all right last season, apart from the Villa game. We're called Ointment because... we don't know ourselves, we just thought it'd sound decent. And yeah, we're real laughing at Newcastle. We were all creasing at Kinnear's interview the other day. Unfortunately we haven't started a forum YET, but we've got a website. I have a remote link to Sunderland because I shared some my national service time with a certain Charlie Hurley. What a fantastic player he was (although ex Millwall) another Palace link going back a long time was Arthur Hudgell who sold to you circa 40/50s for a then record fee for a full back and he did very well for years with you.

No, I'm happy to see him go. Well after all, he the c**t who scored the own goal which knocked us out of the Cup in the quater finals. And no, I don't forgive him at all.
