And then complain on here that he got banned? He isn't a returning hero, he is, let's face it, a little bit sad.

He is not sad at all fella
They are our rivals ,they are deluded ,they are in fact a bunch of cnuts .
Football without banter and rivalry is rather boring in my opinion if you don't like it fine but others do.

All opinions mate.

I suppose it's just not my style to troll but if others feel better about themselves by deliberately winding up a messageboard then I don't see why they have to then come on here bitching about it.

I expect a quick search will provide details of the OP telling a Br*ghton fan on here to f*ck off when saying something he doesn't like, why is this different?

Exactly.
To be honest I didn't go on there to wind them up (I would deserve bring told where to go)usually to put straight some inaccuracies made up by the Weed posters of which there is lots of them.
That's why they need an away end like us ,I often get fed up with away posters posting on Palace talk especially that know all Hull Tigers fan.

The NSC, for giving them a bit of there own, did not swear just banter, first post's for a long time, about our support, them being deluded, and them having no chance of the playoff's, Thats about it, when i got banned i had a good laugh as they are so pathetic, BOZZA (andrew)acts like a NAZI, must have little club syndrome. Whilst they are aloud to spout filth about our club and not get banned. end of rant.

Who's a naughty boy then?

Agreed.
The only reason I ever visit another club's forum is "where can I go to get a beer with your lot before the game without getting my head kicked in?"

Surely going into the oppositions pub for banter is worse than going on the oppositions forum for banter though isn't it? Not that I give a s*** about either, I just didn't get it.

I'm a bit old fashoined - if I'm away, I like to chat to 'locals' to get their view of the upcoming (or just finished) game. I don't go in their pubs to wind them up, I go in to have a football chat with like-minded individuals who follow a different team.

Likewise, if an away fan comes into the pub at the Palace, I enjoy chatting to them. Different perspectives and all that.

Interesting. Millwall refer to us as Nigels because, to them we are seen a rich middle class supporters. Brighton fans are more likely to refer to us as Chavs as to them we are seen as poor working class supporters. I think both terms say more about their sets of supporters than it does about us.

Although I have never joined, I do like going on NSC to see what they are saying about us and they are always talking about us. I used to check to see what Millwall fans were talking about but I think both of their main forums are members only now but when they weren’t they would rarely talk about us unless we were about to play them.

Obviously there must be some decent Brighton fans out there, the overwhelming majority of them have only been supporting them for two or three seasons, the decent ones are drowned out by these new ones. The Major is great fun as he truly seems to believe that Brighton have only existed for the last three seasons, presumably when he started supporting them along with Arse (sic) and Chelsea.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

I was not complaining fella, just stating a fact, I have had many a conversation and drink with oppo fans and will do in the future, I went on their board to give them some back, when we are not doing well, it was a bit of banter. No swearing etc. And don't try and be a keyboard warrior and call me sad. t***

Just nicked this from the BBS.....Taken from a thread on the NSC.
Our stadium has been designed, we are told, to amplify the noise generated by fans. We are also told there is a correlation between the noise and level of support generated by the fans and the performance of the team on the pitch (and vice versa). When we first moved into the Amex the level of noise and atmosphere generated by us was pretty good. As we've become more accustomed to our new surroundings things seem to have gradually quietened down and we have become reliant on extraneous factors like absurd refereeing decisions (eg Burnley), or stupid opposing fans (eg Ipswich) or massively bonkers opposing fans (eg Leeds) to get the home juices flowing. The club, in a mistaken attempt to generate some atmosphere, even resorted to the use of clackers in one unfortunately unforgettable game.

Now, as we sit handily placed just outside the play-offs with over half the season left, may be as good a time as any to take stock and see if there is anything we can do together to improve our performance as fans and thus to help the team on the pitch. It may be that, in order to achieve this and to achieve a greater degree of unity around the stadium, there is a need for a bit more organisation instead of relying on the various smaller pockets of fans dotted around the ground? I do realise that this could prove to be difficult, we can't even get enough people to learn the words of GOSBTS, let alone to aing it at the right pace even when singing along to a recording!

The main noise generating areas have emerged as being the North Stand and the WSU so the challenges may include some of the following:

1. The North Stand is our engine room of noise so how do we get the North Stand to re-unite and sing as one?
2. How do we get the North Stand to maintain a good level of noise throughout a game?
3. How do we get WSU to start singing again?
4. How do we get WSU to synchronise with the North Stand?
5. How do we get the rest of the ground to join in?
6. Maybe we also need a few new songs too?!

Or maybe it really doesn't matter. Or maybe we're just a bunch of reserved, uptight, inhibited southern softies who feel too uncomfortable about shouting (unless we score in which case a few moments of unaccustomed delerium are permitted) or singing or chanting, preferring instead to spend the whole match muttering "FFS Barnes" and similar unfair profanities under our breath. Any maybe we should just accept that's what we are, this is as good as it's going to get and leave it?

always a Norwood boy, where ever I live.
