Hope this is a smoke screen for real candidates, but a strike force of Gayle, Campbell and Murray would do for me as long as we get two commanding defenders for CD and left back.

Watched Gomis a few times, last as a sub vs West Ham, and are not impressed. Hope this is a smoke screen for real candidates, but a strike force of Gayle, Campbell and Murray would do for me as long as we get two commanding defenders for CD and left back. No smoke without fire, or rumour feeding rumour? time will tell. Hope its true. Proven goal scorer, speedy, powerful, good in the air, what's not to like? A gosl scoring cameron Jerome: perfect!

It also mentions Neil Taylor who I've wanted us to get since we got promoted , but he is first choice at Swansea again now! And has been mentioned gomis has been second choice for Swansea and monk seems to rate him highly , we have no chance of getting either , which is annoying as they are two players we are crying out for. Neil Taylor was signed by Paulo Sousa from non-league Wrexham for £150K + 10% of any future fee whilst Gomis was a 'Free' from Metz.And Ashley Williams only cost £400K from Stockport. Not bad scouting !
He was signed on a free from Lyon not Metz.
