It's clear that Pulis's method works but I have seen the club play far more entertaining football in the past. If we were to survive this season, could it come at a cost? We seem to be content with scrappy 1-0 wins against the weaker sides and employing a damage limitation mentality against the stronger sides. Our win against Stoke was technically perfect but football is also about entertainment- 14 goals in 22 games is disappointing for many fans.

Don't be fooled. We may have only scored 14 goals but we must have created at least another 30-40 decent chances which were not put away.

Time to really worry and complain about entertainment value is when the decent chances dry up and we are not really trying to score but only defend.

Yesterday was exciting, selhurst was rocking and we're out of the bottom three. The football isn't even that bad, pretty sure we're passing more than under Holloway's tenure.

Too true ...and let's not forget Butland's terrific stops that prevented at least two more goals on Saturday.

Totally. If we had Murray instead of Jerome...that figure would be up to about 20 goals i'm sure.

I'm certainly entertained.

Same goes for our trip to city, JH was on top form to keep the ball out of the net.

We create chances, Pulis could establish us in the Premiership and as we improve our player budget and ability to attract talent we will have players who will create more and take a far higher percentage of chances even whilst we still play a defensive style. Maybe when that happens the style will change or he will go... I'd be delighted either way if we get to that stage

To be honest we look better than we did under Holloway. We're not going to get the players in to play attractive football all the time, and if Pulis uses our current crop in a style that gets results, that's fine by me.

We need to just survive this season, scrappy 1-0 wins against the lesser teams (of which we are one) is exactly what it's all about.

Success first then entertainment in my book, unless your Man City where you get both.

Nope it's not my name

What Pulis has achieved is remarkable given what he's had to work with. Look back at his words about how he needs better players and we need to strengthen in the transfer window. You should drool over his ability to motivate a limited squad; I'm in awe of what he has done. My mate in Derby who wanted him for their manager(and many Stoke fans) will agree.

I notice on Saturday we have stopped those 60 yard Delaney diagonal passes that used to go to Murray last season and now Delaney has started going on bombing runs they have been pretty effective against spurs in 1st half and on Saturday seems we are playing on the floor more then with Ollie!!
