Has anyone noticed that when we get a corner or a free kick under Pulis, and it doesn't matter what player takes it, the player always touches the ball after the ref blows his whistle and then the kick is taken - it's a very weird thing to do EVERY time a set play is taken.

Also, the prematch warm up under holloway has gone now too I see whereby the players used to do their shuttle runs towards the holmesdale - shame that's gone as it really used to get the crowd going before the first half.

And finally, after Puncheons goal against stoke there was no music played after the goal was scored.

I understand all managers have their own way of doing things - but perhaps all the above things are little Pulis type thungs he has brought to the club

I am certainly glad they didn't play the triumphal music after the goal. Things could easily have gone wrong afterwards, thankfully they didn't. But it would have been tempting fate to play it then...

The whole touching of the ball could be a signal to team mates of the type of delivery that is about to come in ie where in the box it is aimed at, similar to players raised one or two arms before taking a corner.

Maybe the reason for the moving of the pre-match warm up is to help the players focus without the distraction of the crowd

I follow Mike Rankine on Twitter who is the announcement/music guy. He said his ipad had a meltdown hence the lack of music after the goal, so don't think that has anything to do with Pulis!!!

We've been doing the 'touching the ball ' thing all season. It seems a really daft thing to do because quite often the player gets straight up and kicks the ball. Surely goes against the ' Johny Wilkinson ' theory of taking a deep breath and composing yourself prior too a free kick.

Really hope his ipad has a meltdown every week from now on in. The goal music is so embarrassing.

It's obviously the signal for where the ball is going, as is the arm in the air or doing neither. From what I've seen I'd say touching the ball and one arm in the air means near post as we have tried that quite a lot recently.

It's not some sort of anti-semitic gesture is it?
