That's an interesting one, I never really even considered that.

I have also picked Speroni in goal but I'm wondering whether during the time period suggested Kiraly was a better keeper. No doubt I prefer Speroni now, but he's gradually got better over time and I can't remember where he was in his progression at the turn of the decade.

I think Speroni actually played in the final three seasons of this decade as the first choice Keeper, including in the season that saw us stay up on the final day of the season. So he definitely merits his place in the side. Kiraly although was our first choice in the prem was nowhere near the standard of Jules.

Surprised nobody so far has mentioned Shaun Derry in the centre of midfield? Amassed close to 200 appearances over the decade and was integral in both the promotion winning team, and the 2010 last-day survival team.

9 favourites there struggling on centre backs is where I struggle had good ones but who do you put in there

Half of these guys didn't play for the club until the current decade, Murray, Zaha, Delaney, etc. I agree though thinking of a great centre half of that era is a struggle, Fan Zihy or Jose Fonte perhaps?

Absolutely correct should have read question better....took me 1min to put those together...apologies. Take Murray zaha and Delaney out. Reckon the others fall into the top 11 and fonte is a good shout.

Why, for the love of god why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't argue with that I'd chose Moses, Cole and Butterfield out of the choices.

Granville did play well over 100 games for the club and was involved in the team that took us to the prem though? Cole only played a handful of games, as good as he was in those games, hard to select him in a team of the decade
