IF Palace don't sign anyone during this window and subsqeuently get relegated only to then gain promotion back to the Premier league next year and find ourselves in this very same position in Jan 2016 would Parish and co spend? Interesting thought.

If that happened they would prepare the Squad in the Pre-Season ready for the 38 Games.
We would then not have to sign anybody in the January.

If we go down, one interesting question will be whether CPFC2010 (which is presumably a democracy of four) will still trust Steve Parish to run the club day-to-day, given the mess he's made of this season? Or will they recruit a proper football CEO and tell Parish to step back and, like the other three, simply act as an owner. If we go down, I suspect we will in future find it very hard to recruit credible football executives (managers, Directors of Football, or whatever) as long as Parish remains in place.

Sydenham by birth. Selhurst by the Grace of God.

Added to that, if we do get a CEO, what happens to Iain Moody? It would certainly be a hideous structure if we had CPFC 2010- CEO and Phil Alexander-Moody- Pulis.

Personally, I think that Parish is doing a great job in all areas that are non-transfers. With transfers, he needs to set a transfer and wage budget and be done with it. As long as TP sticks to that, then fine.

It depends, on who is available and at what price.

Moody would be fine. We wouldn't need Phil Alexander (I'm not sure what he does anyway).

Edit: oops, hadn't seen the thread Funt started about the point of Phil Alexander...
