Why cant we score from headers?

On paper we have a team that is great in the air, but nothing is going on target. It wouldnt be so bad, but even players that scored all the time from corners and crosses last year are missing. If we scored just a small percentage of our headers, we would be in single figure positions in the league, we now look completely dosile from corners and free kicks. Am i wrong on this? Im sure we used to get quite a few last year...

How many have we scored directly from corners this season? The last one I can think of is the Sunderland game and even that hit a few players before going into the net in the scramble.

As much as I love Jedi he has missed some real sitters this year, He's a massive threat from set pieces and should be saying in with a few goals. The world was a mess but his hair was perfect!

I think Ward should be in the box and not taking them personally as he is good in the air, and his deliveries aren't as good as Puncheon's. I guess Pulis wants inswinging corners from both sides, but Ward is such a presence it seems a waste to have him on corners

up untill a couple of weeks ago, Millwall were the only team in the football league NOT to have scored with a header.... Clinton is Clinton. I have known him for a long time, I know his mother... Simon Jordan

Completely agree with this thread, we have missed so many headed chances in the box. Delaney and Jedinak being the main two culprits most games. Edited by Wilson21 (30 Jan 2014 10.59am)
