I'm still shocked why he chose us. We never win the race when many clubs are involved. I've got a few theories.

1) Our league position
2) Our manager
3) Has he spoken to Holloway?
4) Our location. He has a young baby and perhaps his missus fancied 5 months in London. I would imagine that his Dad with his London roots will probably have a luxury Essex gaff where he can stay.

We stay up. We are £40mill richer. Tom has scored five goals and put in some brilliant performances. He's class. He's happy. He kinda wants to stay.

We offer him a 75k a week deal over three years seeing as how we won't have to pay a fee. Total £10mill.

We sell him for £20mill in 2016.

Job done.

This football management lark is easy. Don't know what all the fuss is about.

I'm happy he's here but.....

It's hard to get too attached to Ince.....He's using the club as an advertising opportunity before a huge money move when his contract runs out.

It works out for both of us......But I find it hard to care much for loan players.

If he scores goals and keeps us up though.....I may feel differently.

I knew there would be at least one negative comment on here, didn't take long. LOL

Agree totally. Much better paying high wages on a young proven player than a big sign on fee for a Crouch type of player at the end of his career. TP and SP have done a good job, I hope they get appreciated for this. Lets hope the team can do their bit now and keep us up.

Great signing... But technically we're paying Blackpool £71428 a week, plus his wages... Wow

But no one else would have to pay a fee, so he may end up going to wherever offers the most (assuming he does well)?

Ah, yes - which is why I said 'he's happy'. That may well sway things in our favour if it turns out to be the case.

You should do perhaps given the impact of players like Paul Stewart, Mark Hudson, Kevin Philips have had on promotion and guys like Sorondo almost kept us up... a player who see's us as putting him in the shop window is better than one who is comfortable just picking up the wage

The agent and player themselves will gobble up quite a bit of that if he doesn't request a transfer? (Do you have to pay tax on player purchases?)

Seems almost impossible to actually make a profit in football, no matter which division you are in.

Ince has turned out to be brilliant Blackpool signing by Holloway !
Regards the lad himself, his Dad said last year that he is grounded, is not flash, and speaks to people the right way.

Yeah, that should give us a bit of an advantage, but if he plays as well as we all want him to and the big clubs start sniffing around.. Although I guess if that happens it doesn't matter as we will have got £40m and we can buy Zaha and/or Moses back.

Sorry getting carried away again.

I'm absolutely made up with his loan signing, he's a quality edition that I believe will ultimately help keep us up and will be enjoyable to watch.

Lets be clear though, In my opinion we will never ever be able to sign him permanently. We could never pay anywhere near the amount of money that he is going to be after once his Blackpool contract runs out.

looking forward to tho 14 or so games that he is here though
