We stay up. We are £40mill richer. Tom has scored five goals and put in some brilliant performances. He's class. He's happy. He kinda wants to stay.

We offer him a 75k a week deal over three years seeing as how we won't have to pay a fee. Total £10mill.

We sell him for £20mill in 2016.

Job done.

This football management lark is easy. Don't know what all the fuss is about.

But no one else would have to pay a fee, so he may end up going to wherever offers the most (assuming he does well)?

There is a fee and quite rightly.

He's been developed and Blackpool will go to tribunal for it.

I saw him as a youth player playing for Notts County's first team at Exeter. Are you sure Blackpool are entitled?

He was pants btw

It works out for both of us......But I find it hard to care much for loan players.

We would be plumb bottom if it wasn't for a loan player who is the only one to have scored any goals for us in the league in January and without him we would be four points behind the second to bottom

Was a loan player you mean.

I'm not having a go at the concept of loan players just that it's hard to bother too much about that.....Here today, gone tomorrow.

Or in the case of our loan player who has single handedly kept us out of the relegation area in January - here today, here tomorrow

He was on loan with Notts county from his original club Liverpool.

Liverpool and Blackpool agreed compensation when he joined Blackpool

Tom Ince was asked on Talksport if there is any chance off him signing a permanent deal with us,he said.

"I will sit down with my dad see how palace do and take it from there".

I'm thrilled ince is hear, you can never have to many quality players in your squad and ince and Ledley are quality in abundance.

Agree totally. Much better paying high wages on a young proven player than a big sign on fee for a Crouch type of player at the end of his career. TP and SP have done a good job, I hope they get appreciated for this. Lets hope the team can do their bit now and keep us up.

It sets a precedent though and is rather unfair on players like Jedi, ward, Jules et al. If we do stay up our wage structure should reflect that but I wouldn't think we'd go much above 45k

Very similar position to last February when we secured Wilf on loan till the end of the season. His goals got us promoted but then the problem of how to replace him. At least this time there is a possibility that Ince may stay especially when he here's the support the team gets every game.

I agree he is using us as a springboard....But he chose us to do it,he had chances to go to other clubs on the same deal, but made it quite clear he wanted to play for us(all be it for 15 games) but still well happy.
I think the board and mr pulis should all get a round od applause.

Agreed, I'm happy he regards us as the club that is best for his development. He could potentially become an all time Crystal Palace hero if he scores the goals that keep us up.

Brilliant signing by CPFC2010!

The funny thing is that papa Ince a couple of years ago spoke to our chairman Simon, asking if we were interested to have a look at his football-playing son. No thanks! was the answer. But finally Tom has joined us...
