Thought our game plan good. First goal so early on in 2nd half a killer.

Just thought we should have maybe pushed up a bit more. Thought KG looked very cumbersome and static in midfield.

However thought WBA gave a better show against Liverpool but then we will have new additions available for them.

Guess Pullis didn't want a 4 or 5 nill so just wanted to play game out.

the team and our supporters can walk out of there with heads held high. we may not be as well off money wise as the arse. however, dispite that we gave them a game and supporters did us all proud.

Goal difference very important. Two nil at arsenal not a disaster.

Good game. Massive ask to beat them at home with their defending. I thought KG was out of place at times, Bolasie and Puncheon had sloppy games. A+ fan support!

Nobody in their right mind would have expected us to come away with anything from that game

Baggies next. Bring 'em on.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I agree. I think that Punch looks like a confidence player and he looked as if he was dwarfed by the occasion toady; like he felt he didn't belong on the pitch.

Bolasie whose attitude, commitment and naivete I love, does look out of place to me. He'll do dell, initially, with a run but then the number of times he'll spoil it all by hot-headedly hoofing the ball nowhere and conceding possession.

It's not like he hasn't had time to learn the lesson. He just keeps making the same mistake. That is the sign, imo, of a player who isn't progressing.

I have a feeling that he'll have trouble keeping his place now that Ince is here.

I thought that in general we did well today.

As mentioned by other posters Punch looked like he lacked a bit of confidence today and Yannick, as much as I like to see him play still does not do the basics of the game at the right time.

Watched the game from the Arsenal end as I suspect many did. The noise from our fans in the opposite corner was immense. It's a pitywe couldn't get anything out of it today but both goals came from two sloppy lapses and the best teams punish those.

"they gave it everything, every ounce of blood, sweat and guts. They battled, they never ducked a challenge and, as their fans ripped their T-shirts off in the stands, creating the kind of heady atmosphere that has turned Selhurst Park into an amphitheatre" Matthew Syed

Thought it was a hard working display against a top side once again. However I am a little concerned with how we always seem to concede shortly after the interval. Undoes all the hard work of the first 45 and takes a lot out of the players to go behind then.

I think you could be right there. He got himself into good positions but squandered the opportunities when they came. I like Yannick but i fear for him.

....but with the new additions I hope it will provide Bolasie with more options for his final ball, often has nowhere to go and with little help, thought today he played very well and kept Arsenal busy.

.......has our coach driver done a Poo'yet, without thinking about Gus!
