I had to give away my ticket and so watched on the TV.
Bolasie did well when he got the ball and then either gave it away or his final ball/decision making was very poor.
Puncheon was nowhere to be seen - I hope he doesn't go missing now he has a long contract!
Ward was tired I thought as was Jedinak although the latter still played well.
Ward got hung out to dry for the first goal by Chamakh who let OC get away and for the second goal he was just beaten for pace - tired like I said plus having to work double hard covering for midfield players not tracking back.
Jerome was poor but to be fair he was also totally isolated and whilst he should have scored it must be difficult when chances are so rare.
The new players who arrived on Friday need to start on Saturday to freshen things up - Ince and Ledley for certain with maybe Danns on the bench.

Losing to the current league leaders, away, is nothing to be disappointed about.

What is disappointing, after frustrating and breaking up anything Arsenal threw at us in the first half, was falling asleep twice in the second. Chamakh should have followed OC, but Ward should have been aware of him too, IMO. The second, OC's movement catches Ward out.

We didn't look at our best, and with matches like that, you can't afford to be. Still, it was a free game, but we need to start picking up unlikely points to help in this struggle. Hopefully the new guys can help freshen things up a bit; Ledley and Ince can offer a lot here.

Jerome seems to work hard, but you need someone who is a bit more instinctive when you're relying on so little chances in games like that. Chamakh just has an air of class about him; a few times he turned his marker and opened up a channel for a pass. I would seriously consider playing him up front, with either Ince, Ledley, Guediora, Bannan or even Punch behind him in that hole. Ince playing off Chamakh could be brilliant.

On to WBA, a massive game once again. The shrewd business in the January window has not only strengthened the depth of the squad, but given us a bit more versatility going forward too IMO, so I think we will see any improvement going forward.

Back from the game-- Palace showed great spirit but some of our players were not at the races today,KG was poor and will be replaced by Ledley,Balasie was wasteful and will be replaced by Ince,Puncheon was completely out of sorts and Speroni could have done better with Arsenals second goal so Hennesseys turn might come sooner rather than later
Chamakh as always had lovely touches but we have no cutting edge and we may have to rely on Ince and Ledley for those extra goals with a shot shy forward line.Oh for a fit GM!

I hope Pulis is as disappointed as I am by our total lack of punch up front yesterday.Chammakh tried hard but got no support. Some of our lads just did not turn up. I think we only have two options to solve our up front problem: send Gayle out on a crash course on how to score goals or play Hennessey as a striker. At 6feet six he should have total control of the area and get those balls that Wilbraham et al miss.

I actually thought we were poor in relation to recent performances. We made more mistakes at the back than I have seen for some time. Yes I do appreciate Arsenal have some world class players but Manchester City also have a few of those and we were better against them.

The bottom line though is that I am upset we lost a game that three months ago I would have been expecting a 5-0 drubbing. We have come such a long way so quickly and with our new signings plus GM almost ready to return I am expecting us to climb another rung on the ladder.

Man City and Chelsea seemed to have a lot more chances than Arsenal to score. Arsenal only really seemed to have four real opportunities to score, and put two of those away.
