Felt sagna had Bolassie and Ward looked strangely lost at times.
Kg should lose his place to Ledley, love the big guy but his just not good enough. Chamakh nearly had a good chance and seemed well like by them. Jerome should have scored (again) and Jules should have saved their second goal . All the rest were average in a routine win for them. They went top after this win and didn't slaughter us by any means so not all doom and gloom at all. Will all be different v West Brom.

its a town full of losers, i,m pulling outta here to win

Jerome should have scored (again)

When I spoke to a contact after we signed Jerome he did comment that he was not the best of finishers !

I have seen the phrase used many times today of "look who we were up against!".......so what, they were there today to be beaten, yes the mighty Arsenal and if we had more belief in our abilities we could have at least come away with a point.

We must set the bar high and NOT be scared of anyone. They are not invincible and don't forget no Wilshere or Ramsey today.

Thought we were much better when Bannon came on, at least we started attacking them and had more pace in midfield. Not impressed by Jerome or I am afraid Chamake. We need a goal threat and neither of these two fit that bill. Yes they may work hard but number 9's have to stick the ball away. All down to Murray, let's hope!

We desperately need to improve our goal scoring otherwise we will be playing in the Championship next season.Pulis is expecting Ince and Ledley to produce the goods - lets hope he's right.

Just cant wait for Murray to get back,He would have buried at least 50% of the chances we make!!!!

Best not to burden him with unrealistic levels of expectation, eh?

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I'll have some of what you're on. Arsenal were exceptional. Our defence and midfield did amazing work to keep them out, and close them out of the game. Had we gone out at them, they'd have been two or three up in the first half, as they'd have overrun our back four with relative ease.

KG, Deleny, Jedi, Gabidon and Par were absolutely immense and resolute. We kept one of the best attacking sides bottled up, and stifled out their chances.

With more space Arsenal would have ripped us apart.

Jamie.....I am still on the injection I received as a 5 year old after watching Palace for the first time! what you are saying is correct and I cannot disagree but we did have chances in the second half so we didn't defend 100% and could have defended the 2 goals better.

Good teams close you down very quickly and this is something very different from the Championship, also knowing how to retain possession and not just get rid quickly. Finally getting the movement right. All things that will improve with technically better players in the suspect positions and experience of playing the big boys.

Above all else we must never lose the faith and believe that we get a result whatever the opposition.

I thought Arsenal were S***e by the way!!

For some reason, in the 2nd half Wenger seemed to target Ward as our weak link and he was spot on as most of their attacking came down his side as did the two goals. I love Wardy but he wasn't on his game yesterday. Poldolski was giving him a torrid time too until he went off. Could be after all those games in midfield he found it hard to re-adjust.
