We now have potentially 4 to choose out of 6.

For me, up front has to chamach until Murray is fit. The other three positions, in the midfield pushing on and the 2 wingers are more debatable.

I'd like to see bolasie and ince on the wings with punch behind?

Too attacking for tony?

Yannick is quick and capable of taking on and beating defenders, but then what happens? Not a lot.

He seems to lack the focus to make the most of any space he creates and his crossing and long-range shooting leawes a lot to be desired.

However, credit to him for bravery, hard work and a willingness to help out in defence.

Puncheon and Jerome both had off days, but the Arsenal defence was pretty solid, so hard to blame them too much. Chamakh looked classy - he's well overdue another goal.

Bannan looked lively but never quite managed to exert any influence.

Watching Cardiff on MOTD made me nostalgic for the days (they seem so long ago) of Wilfried Zaha. In fact, I almost found myself supporting Cardiff - till I quickly snapped out of it.

Chamakh behind Murray with Ince and Puncheon on the wings sounds about right

We severely lack goals, it's the one area we need to improve on quickly if we're going to stay up.

With GM hopefully back soon and Ince & Ledley coming in, it seems Pulis thinks this will cure our problems putting the ball in the net. I was surprised we didn't go for a striker in January but I trust TP and very much hope his assessment is correct that GM, TI & JL will get us the extra goals we'll need to stay in this division.

Jerome was appalling today, forget the fact that he should have done better with that headed chance, not that its easy, but at this level he should have done better. He just roamed around kind of casually for most of the first half seemingly uninterested in getting involved. Constantly got himself into offside positions that he just never bothered to come back from.
Good at holding the ball up ? dont think i saw him do it even once today.
Chamakh was huge though, as was Yannick, yes his final ball is not always good, though he put a few good ones in today but nobody attacked the space. He did take the pressure of our defence a number of times though.

Strange how many of us were relieved to see Ward back at RB, but both goals came from his side.
