Until today I've been really supportive of his hard work, power and speed but today he really pi**ed me off. He looked like he couldn't be bothered. He really lacks quality and gives no more than Gayle would IMO.

Well gayle would have scored that header...

Sorry times up for you Cameron

Fair enough they're world class defenders however they had a rather relaxed day which they shouldn't!

I can't fault his work rate, but I agree it's time to put Gayle up front with Chamakh. Seems to me a better combo anyway. When Murray's back, obviously he needs to start but this weekend will be too soon for him even on the bench.

Does work hard but even against world class defenders still headed straight at the keeper

We need someone mobile and with muscle up front, and tbh who else have we got to do that job, ? Ok he isn't prolific in front of goal, but that could change on Saturday, some wanted puncheon sent back to Southampton, but now he looks the part, ince and ledely may give him more openings and hopefully get him on a scoring run. Give him a chance to work with the new boys.

Some are able to cause a nuisance and look like a threat a little bit like the elderly Bolton fan who tried to get herself a drink in the Cherry Trees in 1997/98 season.

Can we have her upfront?

He's not brilliant but works hard and until we have a better option for TP's style I think he will play.

The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years

His scoring rate/chances wouldnt go up if you placed him and a wallet full of crisp fivers in the bedroom of 12 nympho hookers charging a fiver a pop.

Clinton is Clinton. I have known him for a long time, I know his mother... Simon Jordan

Some pretty harsh criticism on here, to say he was feeding on scraps was an understatement. He got his header on target, a chance he wasn't expecting. You could argue he should have been anticipating the ball coming there in the way a poacher would. But he just isn't that type of striker.

For many people (including me) he was our motm against Hull, worked tirelessly putting their defenders under pressure.

He is a vital part of how we play at the moment, and they way Pulis has us set up was probably never going to test a top 4 team. However, we are going to stay up by beating the teams in the bottom half, rather than doing what we have done so many times in the past - do well against the top teams and miss out on the easy points...

Give the guy a break!
