OP is reading far too much into Tom's word, I don't get the analogy of Tom's statement and his in the opening post.

Remembering staffie for ever!, a gentleman and true great. unfortunately the HOL will never be the same without him.

This lad need's to get a grip (see below) because he seems to see himself as a Messi, Ronaldo and Suarez-type player rolled into one!

No Tom, Lionel M is good at dribbling one-on-one, not you, and as for scoring goals I think I'd rather have a Van Persie or an Aguero than someone who has been rotting at Blackpool.

Who do these people think they are?

From his words concerning his assist-rate I now expect a player second only to God when it come to being the creator supreme.

Did Arsenal know Tom was available when they did £42.5m on Ozil?

Finally for a club in a 'roll your sleeves up' relegation scrap don't expect Tom (his words) to get stuck in and fight and battle.

Apparently it is not his game!

Tom Ince:

"I think I'm good at dribbling with the ball, one-on-one. That’s my ideal situation - I like to try and find some space," said Ince who has netted seven times from the wing this campaign.

"I’d say scoring goals too, after last year. I never really used to score that many goals until then, but I started becoming a little bit more selfish.

"Assist wise, though, my rate has always been good. I got the most in the Championship last year. So if I can carry on and better my weaknesses then I’ll be ok."

Ince says he did think about playing the tough midfielder role like his dad Paul but opted against it from an early age.

He said: "I did consider it, but when I went in for tackles I started crying afterwards. So I though I’d best get myself out wide, out of the way and out of danger!"

Are you on a wind up?! I don't see anything wrong with his interview at all, he is just describing how he plays... Its all true anyway, he did get the most assist in the Championship and he did score a lot of goals 1 on 1. Which is why everybody is so excited about this transfer. He is confident in his own ability I don't see no wrong with that, would you rather he said he was s***? Mong!

Read the OP's other posts, this is his mentality unfortunately.
I see nothing wrong with Ince wanting to be a success, in fact I puzzled why its even a debate?

Debate is contention in argument; dispute, controversy; discussion; especially the discussion of questions of public interest in Parliament or in any assembly.

I believe this one sided point of view cannot technically be a debate
