I think many people think that campaigns against so-called homophobia are overblown and unnecessary. It is a trendy cause on behalf of less than 2% of the population. You hear worse abuse against 'pikeys' and people with mental illness at a Premier League stadium than homosexuals. There needs to be understanding of context which is not happening.
